Phil has continued to broaden his extensive skills whilst working hands on for QLD health, and then moving into a private practice on the Gold Coast.

Phil's genuine passion for dentistry has been the driving force behind his furthered education. Phil has travelled extensively to the US and North America, to fulfil his passion in implantology and more recently - orthodontics.

Phil's
love of dentistry includes educating himself and others. This passion to teach has seen Phil's role evolve in recent times to one of a mentoring role, where he works hard with his fantastic team to help perfect modern and successful treatment techniques.

On a personal note, Phil and Jo have been Sunshine Coast locals since 2014. They have three sons, William, Henry and Jack. Phil and Jo both enjoy spending time with family and friends, and soaking up the Sunshine Coast lifestyle.

graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours), where he was fortunate enough to provide services in the brand new Herston Oral Health Centre amongst other rural clinics in Central Coast Queensland and the Darling Downs. He grew up in Sydney and moved to Brisbane in 2016, but he has been ready to trade the big city life for a more relaxed seaside scene in the Sunshine Coast.

Sean’s passion for dentistry stems from his love of communicating and connecting with all the patients he sees, and he prides himself in providing comfortable and productive experiences without compromising time and quality. He is committed to preventative dentistry and ensuring long-term oral health for everyone, and has particular interests in caring for anxious patients and treating kids. Sean is a big believer in giving the patient control and knowledge over their treatment, and will take the time to explain and discuss everything for a more informed and empowered approach to oral health.

Outside of dentistry, Sean enjoys travelling, going to the gym, playing video games, watching TV, eating good food and spending time with his friends and family. He is always down for a chat with his patients, so don’t be afraid to start a conversation with him if he doesn’t do so already!

Before joining the team at Gentle Dental, Kristy established her own personal training business, and with her husband they built a health food company that focuses on the importance of gut health and mental health. She is eager to educate people on just how important it is to look after our body from the inside out, and the effects that poor oral health can have on our overall well-being.
